So delicious and creamy, we made this avocado crema with lactose-free sour cream. Enjoy it as a topping for our Southwest Spice Barbecue Chicken, Chicken Enchiladas Verde, or these delicious Manchego & Goat Cheese Quesadillas

Lactose free and so creamy. Whip up this avocado crema in 5 minutes. 
This 5-minute avocado crema is a delicious, lactose-free topping for our Southwest Spice Barbecue Chicken. We also added purchased mango salsa.

5-Minute, Lactose-Free Avocado Crema
Here’s a quick, lactose-free topping for your favorite Mexican or Southwestern recipes. The secret is to use a blender to whip in air and make it extra creamy.
Ingredients
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 3-4 tablespoons lactose-free sour cream
Instructions
1. Mash avocado. Stir in lemon juice and salt. Add sour cream. 2. Blend mixture with an immersion blender or in a mini food chopper until fully pureed and fluffy. Serve.
